A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Wednesday, July 15, Wednesday, July 15, 10:00 AM at St. Joan of Arc Catholic Church, Kingston & Front Streets, Lisle, IL 60532.
Cancelling a Federal Holiday is not acceptable! We plan our family time around our off days as per the agreed upon crew sheet and the Carrier acted without regard for us and cancelled the Fourth of July holiday by ordering crews to work on their off day.
In my personal opinion everyone must vote to keep our current agreements. This past 4th of July holiday showed us how we will be mis-treated, no regard for our planned holiday off as per our crew sheet.

And before you vote, look at all the time tested, rock solid, current agreements that protect your job, vacation time, continuous time, HOS breaks, and more.
The people that make these rules and want to take away our rights sit in air conditioned offices with cushy schedules and do not care one bit about us. How many of their kids’ baseball games do you think they miss? How many Christmas dinners do you think they miss? And how many have we all missed?

They will cancel holiday schedule but still count it as holiday for points?!? We cannot allow Metra to bully us anymore. We have the power. We can run these trains without management. They cannot run these trains without us!!!
