I just received notice from the General Chairmans office in regards to the short crew pay. The Carrier has taken a position that they are not paying the short crew. SMART-TD OPPOSES the Carriers position. The General Committee's position is that the $10.75 was not part of the Daily Rate, and insists that the Carrier PAY the $10.75 Crew Consist Rate. Please submit a non-service claim for the short crew for each day. You can go back up to 60 days for non-service claims.

Just spoke to the General Chairman, he wants everyone including C&NW employees putting in the short crew claim.
