I just spoke with Dean Ridder who told me that the boards will remain where they are through the end of May.
Got a call from Dean Ridder who told me that the cut of the positions came from an audit from Omaha. They showed a surplus of positions in Commuter and that is why they made the cut. What that means is, they had a specific number of employees working in Commuter before the Alternative Schedule. After they went to this schedule, there were approximately 24 more positions added to Commuter. The Carrier has stated that they were going to maintain the original numbers that were already in Commuter, not the additional positions.
