Process for Requesting Unpaid Days Off for Preventative Medical Visits
Brothers and Sisters,
Union Pacific currently has no programming in place to handle requests for unpaid days off for preventative medical visits. Until the programming is completed, members must send their request to this office at least 35 days in advance of the visit. We will send the request to UP for processing and approval. This process seems a bit redundant, but it will allow us to follow up and track each request until programming is completed. Members must provide their name, employee ID, date of appointment, and any need for preparation or recovery days (ex: colonoscopy prep).
