FRA Safety Advisory issued 10/28/22
FRA issued an Advisory concerning the use of portable derails. Portable derails should be illuminated in low visibility areas and removed once all work is completed. If you encounter a portable derail which is not illuminated either by light or reflective material, please report ASAP as this can cause a tragic event for unsuspecting train crews.
