Yard Center FBY Change
The Utility assignments at Yard Center have been changed by the Carrier to FBY positions. Your new rate of pay should be $432.25 for your 100-mile basic day. I am working with the Director of timekeeping to get this corrected in the build. However, the Service Unit did not want to pay you appropriately for this extra work. If it is not corrected, you will need to claim the difference in pay every time you work. Do not let the Service Unit get away with sticking it to you by not claiming the difference in pay, hold them accountable. We have the ability to reach back 60 days to put in a claim. I will post an update if this issue gets resolved with timekeeping.

Attached is a proposed agreement for Utility Footboard Yardmaster assignments. This would allow utility positions to handle administrative duties (paperwork) and direct trains in the terminal. Such positions would be paid the footboard yardmaster rate, with overtime after 8 hours.
Ballots are due back via email by Monday, June 23, 2025.
