Unwanted tow in.

Are there any agreements if the company can’t provide us with transportation to our home terminal? Or labor laws?

I can understand things happen , but I don’t feel like every start should be an 18+ hour day. I don’t know who watches this stuff, but it’s kind of funny when you get phone calls asking why your still on duty, and your still stuck on one of their trains.

Anymore, yes this is the norm. After I’m on tow in I call corridor, and the dispatcher. They can’t do anything about the cab company. They try to get Ubers, but they seldom pick us up anymore. And I have called local managers, they seem to think that I’m crazy, asking them for a ride. Which is why I am bringing it up on a Union level now. But I am interested to know, is there any agreements about this? Is this legal? I normally wouldn’t make a fuss about this, but it’s everyday anymore, and it’s not like these engines are comfortable.
