Lack of vans.
I really don't know if there is anything the Union can do to get more cabs put back into service. It's 8:50 pm. I was notified at 5:17 pm that my brother is now dead. As I was on the phone with a family member my engineer called corridor to notify them so they could get me off the train ASAP. The relief crew came on duty at 5:30 pm. 3 hours went by and the relief crew did not have a ride from East 5. The van driver just told me that he was supposed to take that crew out to us at Wheaton, but then got sent to Calumet then sent back to us which corridor had us pull down to Bellwood for the review. I would just really hate for something like this to happen to anyone else.

Yeah these lack of cabs is becoming ridiculous. 3 hours tow and command center said so cabs available yet. Amos ended up giving us a ride from YC to E5. Ended up with 4 hours tow that day. This is a regular thing now
