The transfer agreements state that all UP/SMART TD Agreements will remain in effect with the exception of the Peer trainer agreement and very specific rules as outlined in the transfer agreement itself. That means your step rate would remain in effect as it does now.

I was told if you remove any single bid, you are disqualified from transferring to Metra. You can remove them all or none. There is no in between. Tom confirmed this with the GCA.

CMS is adding notes to the awards that state they are effective 1-15-2025 @ 2301 hours

All "awards" have been stopped. The award date was advertised by agreement on the 15th. You have 24 hours in advance of the award date to remove any bids you so desire. You can not add new bids. There was no specific time stated so we have to assume awards on 1-15 at 0001 hours. So that being said....if you want to remove any bids you currently have placed, you need to have it done by 0001 hours on 1-14-2025. Anyone who shows an award in CMTS advertisements, should be receiving a broadcast message letting you know that it "could" change.

So now that the carrier is NOT running a standard Saturday schedule what claim will we be submitting for violating the agreement?

Yes @Local Secretary Ricker , I do pay the union to protect me. I don't feel this agreement does. I appreciate the fact it was brought to us to vote on and applaud the effort. This DOES NOT mean it protects me. As I see it, it only benefits those with regular assignments who would get an extra full days pay without showing up. No one else. While I value the fact you voted what you believe to be in your best interest, I have also done the same for myself. As far as what "will" happen, they run a regular day and you work the assignment you bid or they run a "special event" schedule anyway and you get your build up adjusted. All the same to me. So the regular jobs get a full day's pay, 2 extra hours and the extra board only gets 2 extra hours "if" we get called to work? Doesn't sound fair to me. What about the people who are scheduled off on Wed/Thu, now they have to come in for 2 hours additional pay while they forfeit the off day?
