Put your standing bids in. It is the carriers position that if a junior qualified employee gets forced to a job and you don't have your standing bid in place...too bad. Our force assignment rules place the lower seniority people who are unassigned to no bid assignments. If you want it, put your name on it or you will loose your right to claim restriction of seniority. If you are being forced to an assignment without being allowed to exercise the full allotment of time, put in claims for restriction of seniority. Put it in BEFORE you call us and try to get it corrected. We will work for you but you have to help yourselves first.
