Fiscal Cliff
In the face of the looming public transit fiscal cliff, we have joined the Labor Alliance for Public Transportation to partner with state lawmakers in Springfield to enact smart, safe and fiscally sound public transit reforms.
The Labor Alliance for Public Transit includes over thirty local unions working in tandem to enhance the safety and efficiency of transportation options across Illinois.
As a member of the coalition, SMART-Transportation Division envisions a cohesive, coordinated, forward-thinking approach to public transportation that meets the needs of all Illinoisans.
