The Carrier is reverting to the Points Metrics that were in effect prior to the August 1, 2021 revision.
Basically with the current attendance policy UP would have to properly staff the boards that way we could have a life and trains could run.. They're not going to add to the boards so they decided to revert back to the old attendance policy, not even a "meet in the middle". Everytime they do a policy change like this and the covid mandate they tell the union they are not going to negotiate. What does this say about the unions power? I'm tired of seeing Union officials enjoying themselves at conventions/meetings in the news letter if UP can do whatever it wants with no regard to the union & employee rights...
