VACATION ALLOCATION
The current system of placing vacation bids is being questioned by some of our membership. Currently faxing or submission to an individual by Dec 1st deadline. Alot of rumors about who does them and how they are done. This information is posted online at www.smarttd577.com , choose the menu in the top right corner and scroll down to "vacations". The membership has the option to do them online. While this option is not currently the one we practice, it could be, if the union membership agreed. We need to hear your thoughts and opinions. We need you to show up to meetings and vote for issues brought to the floor. We can't financially spend the money to mail ballots on every single topic addressed. You have choices and you deserve to be represented appropriately. Join our blog, our groups, our Facebook page or attend meetings. The last option being the most important.
