Borrow out
Memorandum of Understanding that extends the requirement period in which employees, who are successful bidders to the upcoming borrow out bulletin for North Platte, Nebraska, may relinquish their borrow out status. The timeframe for relinquishing a borrow out is extended to 60 days. In exchange for this extended timeframe, UP agreed to increase the daily bonus to $300. The MOU only applies to borrow outs for North Platte that are posted over the next 30 days.
CMS plans on posting the borrow out notice to North Platte sometime today or tomorrow. Please let the membership know that if they intend to bid on the borrow out, they cannot relinquish it for 60 days from the date of their qualification. This should be a lucrative borrow out for our members as they will receive the $300 daily bonus payment and per diem in addition to all other earnings. Again, this MOU only applies to the borrow outs that are advertised for North Platte over the next 30 days. If you have any questions, don’t hesitate to call.
