I‘ve been on this 40 man commuter extra board since last Tuesday. I worked my regular job 13 the whole week until they abolished it that Sunday. My off day was Monday/Tuesday but the caller made me acknowledge by bump right away. Without being able to take my off days. So I placed myself on the Extra board that Tuesday and took a PL day that Wednesday because I had a appointment.
My question is, I’m sure they counted that as a consecutive layoff me being LB to PL so I’m not getting paid at all and this 40 man extra board isn’t turning. Is there anything I can do besides sit on this extra board hoping it turns without getting paid until I get a start?
Even if you laid off sick you would still get guarantee minus the one day in ur case.
