CFT One Day Stands There have been some questions regarding One Day Stands (1DS). Here is some clarification: You may not take a one day stand from an extra board. You must be on the first 24 hours of a bump and are allowed only 1 One Day Stand. And then it can only be on a job that you would not normally be able to hold because of a vacation/layoff day by another employee. You cannot do a 1DS on a vacant job.
