The yard vehicles are unsafe and not properly tagged, most of them anyway. Please get tag numbers to myself or Brother Maeda and we will make sure to get these problem vehicles pulled from service.

This is a link to the carriers own policy regarding fleet vehicles. It’s clearly stated that the vehicles have to comply with state and federal laws. A broken headlight does not comply with state or federal laws and neither does a flat tire, wether you’re on property or not. https://employees.www.uprr.com/emp/supply/attachments/fleet/fleet_policy.pdf We will keep each other safe even when the carrier chooses not to.
